A bus carrying British tourists crashed and plunged into a ravine on La Gomera around 1:15 PM local time on April 10, 2026, leaving at least one person dead and several others injured.
The bus was reportedly carrying 24 adults, 3 children, and the driver, all believed to be British nationals, when it veered off the GM-2 road near a tunnel while heading toward a ferry route from Playa de Santiago.
Emergency services, including helicopters, ambulances, and medical teams, were deployed to the scene to rescue passengers and transport the injured to hospitals.
